Pacific Spoonfish - 2025

It started with plastic utensils piling up in my kitchen drawer from too many food deliveries. There is so much plastic waste in the world that I didn’t want to contribute to. So I made a fish. After awhile of sitting in my studio, I realized that fish was lonely so I made more fish. They needed a place to live so I covered a piece of cardboard in fabric and added some paint and shells. The rest, as they say, is history.
